Simple future tense

1. We use the simple future tense with will to talk about:

• decisions to do something in the future at the moment of speaking

• things we hope or think are going to happen in the future

• promise to do something in the future​

2. We use the bare infinitive after will. We form positive statements with will.

​

3. We form negative statements with will not (won't).

​

4. We often use expression of time such as tomorrow, next week and later with the simple future tense.
