Using “too much,” “too many,” “too little,” “too few,” & “enough”
1. We use too many and too few with countable nouns. We use too many to say that something is in greater quantity than needed. We use too few to say that something is in smaller quantity than needed.
2. We use too much and too little with uncountable nouns. We use too much to say that something is in greater quantity than needed. We use too little to say that something is in smaller quantity than needed.
3. We use enough with both countable and uncountable nouns to say that the quantity of something is just right. We can add not before enough to say that we do not have as much as we need.
